BC Heat Wave

We all enjoy hot weather, but how hot is to hot? According to CBC Canada, "619 people died from extreme heat last summer." The heat is serious and deadly. The question is now is BC going to get another heat wave? Last summer the heat reached, 45 degrees Celsius, registering at least 46.1 degrees, according to Environment Canada. The heat wave also took the lives of 808, people according to coroners. Those deaths were recorded from June 25 through July 1. According to CBC Canada the heat wave was caused by climate change. The crazy heat kept everyone inside with the AC! Summers right around the corner are we about to face another crazy heat wave?
Right now we are experiencing a climate crisis, and our summers are just going to keep getting hotter and hotter each year. If we don't tackle this climate crisis this issue is going to get bigger and bigger. All that I remember from last summer is sweating, and all fans being sold out. BC is expected to have another head wave this summer, hopefully this time we can prepare ourselves! Some ways you can help tackle the climate crisis are, Shift to more of a plant based diet, Use renewable energy, and to Change your approach to travel and transport. If we work together we can tackle the climate crisis.
