Crazy Gas prices in BC

Crazy Gas Prices

If you live in BC you defiantly have noticed some crazy gas prices recently. According to the CTV News Vancouver,"On Sunday, some stations across the region charged 236.9 cents per liter, breaking the previous price record of 233.9." These gas prices are crazy! Its cheaper to fly somewhere then drive nowadays! The question is so, why are we paying so much for gas? The simple answer is Tax, according to ( CBC)  B.C. only has two oil refineries, one in Prince George that produces about 12,000 barrels a day and one in Burnaby that has a capacity of about 55,000 barrels a day. Right now with these crazy gas prices it makes its difficult driving around because it costs so much. The cost for diesel isn't that much better either!

BC and epically Vancouver are very expensive places, so with these crazy gas prices its making it much harder to be able afford living here. My thoughts about gas prices, as someone who just got there license its crazy to see how much gas we go through. The struggle of gas plays hand in hand in the struggle to make a living. The alarming gas prices make me rethink how much I drive. Many people have to travel far to get to work, and with these crazy gas prices is it even worth for those people to go to work? Right now BC is struggling more than ever. When I woke up the other day and saw the gas prices I couldn't believe my eyes.
